I personally feel that critics often describe RGC as being more over-the-top than the feelings I get when listening to their albums. Their live performances contain heart-felt, dub-ish interludes in between album titles which are often charged with a very raw energy but interestingly enough comes to an end at an almost definitive point when a jam session ends and a titled song begins.
